Nana Addo’s policies are yielding results- Evans Amihere

The SRC President who doubles as TESCON President of the Methodist university college Evans Amihere has revealed that the policies outlined by H.E Nana Addo led government, are yielding very good results.

According to him, the once unattractive economy of Ghana is beginning to gain grounds again. ‘’Though the cedi is not performing, the current administration is doing its best to ensure the stability of the cedi”

Mr. Amihere made these statements in an interview with Nana Yaa Boamponsem Ameyaw on Eboboba on Homebase Tv.

He stated that, planting for food and jobs initiative  is one project that will  aid the Ghanaian economy.

The project, he explained has created a lot of employment opportunities for the youth of this country. It has also been a major boost for farmers and has led to enormous reduction of prices of foodstuff.

Again the funding made available to farmers under this project will help them  expand their farmlands. He added that, this would help  farmers to grow enough to feed the nation and even reserve some for exportation.

He further indicated that, during the President’s recent visit to Germany, he was given $100,000,000.00 to invest into the ‘one district-one factory project’. This he said shows the level of confidence the German had in the policies by the Akuffo-Addo government.

Mr. Amihere emphasized the fact that, the huge success chopped by the NPP government during its first six months in administration is a clear indication that Ghana would work again.
